6. Preparation of 1,4-Dibromobutane
1,4-Dibromobutane can be from THF via the open-loop, bromide derived. added hydrobromic acid,then add THF dropwise under stirring , and then dropping sulfuric acid,the temperature should be controlled at below 50 ℃. And then heated to 108 ℃ or so back 4h, after reaction continue stiring for 1h,when it is cold, take the subnatant,wash to neutral with soda solution, then add anhydrous calcium chloride for drying, filtration,then it is finished.

1,4-DIBROMOBUTANE can be used in organic intermediates.
