Uses

 1-Chloronaphthalene (CAS NO.90-13-1) can be used in organic synthesis and preparation of 1 - naphthol. It also can be used as solvents, analytical reagents.

Production

 1-Chloronaphthalene (CAS NO.90-13-1) can be derived from the direct chlorination of Naphthalene ,and also uses iodine as a catalyst. A small amount of production may also be derived by naphthylamine with being diazotized and displacement .
