Preparation of 2,6-Dimethyl-2-octen-8-ol, butyrate: this chemical can be prepared by butyric acid with 3,7-dimethyl-oct-6-en-1-ol. The reaction occurs with solvent H2O and other condition of lipase from Aspergillus niger. The temperature is 30 °C. The reaction time is 18 hours.
