Preparation of 2-Cyclohexylethanol: it can be prepared by cyclohexyl-acetic acid ethyl ester. This reaction will need reagents NaBH4 and AlCl3 and solvent bis-(2-methoxy-ethyl) ether. The reaction time is 2 hours by heating. The yield is about 89%.
