Uses of 5-Acetylamido-2-chloroaniline: It is used as intermediate of color former and as developer of colour film. It also can be used to produce 3-azido-4-chloroacetanilide. This reaction needs reagents 37percent aq. HCl, NaNO2, NaN3 and solvent H2O. The yield is 78%.
