The invention discloses a synthesis method of chiral (-)-cephalotaxine and an intermediate thereof. The synthesis method comprises the following steps: performing rearrangement reaction as shown belowon a compound A in a solvent under the action of Lewis acid, so as to obtain a compound B. The synthesis method takes industrial material furan as a starting material, so as to obtain chiral cephalotaxine through 10 steps, and is high in reaction yield, simple to operate, and expected to be applied to industrial production.
