The invention relates to a preparation method of profenofos intermediate triester. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) 2-chlorine-4-bromophenol and potassium hydroxide react to generate potassium salt; (2) 2-chlorine-4-bromophenol potassium and O, O-diethyl thiophosphoryl chloride react to generate triester under the effect of trimethylamine phase transfer catalyst. The method of the invention can be adopted to improve the product yield from 96% to above 98% and the content from 98.0% to 9.0%, and is an efficient method for preparing the high-purity profenofos intermediate triester; at the same time, waste water is changed from past sodium salt chloride to potassium salt chloride as potassium fertilizer raw materials for conveniently treating the waste water.
