K-AM (CAS NO.: ), with its systematic name of -N-L-rhamnoside sodium salt, could be produced through many synthetic methods.
Following is one of the synthesis routes: 4-Aminobenzoic acid (I) could react with rhamnose (II) in ethanol in the presence of NaOH and NH4Cl to produce the final product K-AM.
