- Production Methods of Urapidil
-
Urapidil (CAS NO.: 34661-75-1), with its systematic name of Uracil, 1,3-dimethyl-6-(3-(4-(o-methoxyphenyl)-1-piperazinyl)proppylamino)-, could be produced through many synthetic methods.
Following are some of the synthesis routes:
1). O-methoxyphenylpiperazine carbonate (I) is condensed with 1,3-dimethyl-4-(3-chloropropylamino)uracil (II) in refluxing water to produce Urapidil.
2). N-(o-methoxyphenyl)-N-(3-aminopropyl)piperazine (III) is condensed with 1,3-dimethyl-4-chlorouracil (IV) in refluxing triethylamine to produce Urapidil.
