The Dibasic lead Phosphite, with the CAS registry number 12141-20-7 and EINECS registry number 235-252-2, has the systematic name of lead(2+) phosphonate - oxo-λ2-plumbane (1:2). It is a kind of Inorganics, and the molecular formula of this chemical is HO5PPb3. What's more, it is usually used as heat stabilizer in the synthesis of PVC, and it has a good inoxidability and exceptionally good weatherability.

Preparation: First, you should get litharge and orthophosphorous acid. Then, add litharge and water into reactor, and heat to 70°C. Add orthophosphorous acid in the presence of acetic acid with stirring until the ph is about 6.9. And after a series of dehydration, filtration and drying, you can get the product:

3PbO+H3PO3[HAc]→2PbO.PbHPO3.0.5H2O+0.5H2O
