TM for a mixture of N,N′-diphenyl-p-phenylenediamine and a complex diarylamine-ketone reaction product.

Properties:

Brownish-gray granules. D 1.20, melting range 75–90 C. “Flexamine S” is soluble in acetone, benzene, and ethylene dichloride and insoluble in water and gasoline.

Use:

Antioxidant used in tires, camelback, wire insulation, neoprene belting, and soles.
