Properties:

High densities and low viscosities, combined residue (soluble plus insoluble matter) is less than 1 ppm.

Grade:

Standard and electronic, Genesolv D, 200, and 2004.

Hazard:

Nonflammable, nonexplosive, thermally stable, and relatively nonhydrolyzable.

Use:

Removal of greases and oils from metal, plastic, elastomer, and paint or varnish surfaces. Used with all cleaning techniques on assembled motors and parts, electronic devices, precisioncomponents, motion-picture film, refrigeration systems, etc. Also used for isolation of viruses, for fire extinguishing, and as dielectric coolants.
