In conclusion, Ti–Al/Al2O3 nanocomposite can be used as
an efficient catalyst for simple, clean and eco-friendly
synthesis of 2-amino-4H-chromen-5(6H)-ones at ambient
temperature in water as a green solvent. Ti–Al/Al2O3
nanocomposite is a new, cheap, and heterogeneous catalyst
with high catalytic activity. Other benefits including easy
preparation of catalyst, safe conditions, excellent yields of
products and short reaction time make this methodology as
a green catalytic system for efficient preparation of 7,8-
dihydro-4H-chromen-5(6H)-ones.
