showed not only high activities but also high recyclability in a
three times recycling test. Calcination over 500 1C caused the
formation of Co NPs, which showed inferior activity and selec-
tivity in comparison with the single-site catalyst. This study
suggests the importance of the precise architecture of the active
center, taking into account the unique decomposition pathway
of the Co(salen) complex. We expect that this strategy can be
applied to the deposition of other single metals as unique
catalysts and/or photocatalysts.
