Uses of Levonorgestrel: It is used in monophasic and triphasic formulations of combined oral contraceptive pills at low doses. It is also used in emergency contraceptive pills (ECPs), both in a combined Yuzpe regimen which includes estrogen, and as a levonorgestrel-only method.
