Uses

 Magnesium Sulphate (CAS NO. 7487-88-9) can be used as fire retardant for cement, filler paper,aggravating agent for textiles. It is used as raw material for manufacturing magnesium, and for the production of veterinary drugs and laxatives, feed additives, fertilizers, etc, and also is used as analytical reagent. It is also used in the pharmaceutical industry and printing and dyeing industry.

Production

Re-crystallization method: adding magnesium sulfate in the industrial tanks; dissolved in water; having the purification of solution to remove arsenic and heavy metals; filtered and concentrated filtrate; cooling crystallization and having centrifugal separation, then get the refined Magnesium Sulphate (CAS NO. 7487-88-9) , and dried at 200 °C for dehydration.
