Magnesium fluoride Production

Magnesium fluoride (CAS NO.7783-40-6) has the production. Magnesium carbonate method: in lead lined reactor containing an excessive amount of hydrofluoric acid, in the stirring join the slurry magnesite at 90 ~ 95 ℃ under the reaction. The reaction of magnesium fluoride, followed by filtration, washing, drying at 105 ℃ or so, and then by crushing, magnesium fluoride can obtain the product.
MgCO3 +2HF → MgF2 + H2O + C02
