Uses
N2-[S-(Carboxymethyl)-L-cysteinyl]-L-lysine, has shown to have antimicrobial properties, and is used as preservatives in cosmetics. It can also be used for the synthesis of sidechain-linked inhibitors of HIV-1 protease dimerization.
