Uses
Trisodium phosphate (CAS NO.7601-54-9) can be used as a water softening agent, cleaning agent in electroplating, color fixer in fabric dyeing and flux in enamel ware manufacturing and so on.
Production
Trisodium phosphate(7601-54-9) is made from phosphoric acid and soda ash, but caustic soda is necessary to substitute the third hydrogen of the phosphoric acid.
