Thus, terephthalic acid 1800, ethylene glycol 1345, 2,5-pyridinedicarboxylic acid (I) [100-26-5] 9, and Sb(OAc)3 1.5 g were charged at 95° to a 1 gal stainless steel autoclave with a double spiral agitator turning at 30 rpm.
