During testing, a 60Co .gamma.-source was used in the dose rate range of 60 to 6000 rad/s at temps. of 38-150.degree. and N2O concns. of (3 to 55) .times. 10-3 mol/L. The radiation-chem. yield of N did not depend on the initial pressure of N2O. For N2O concns. of <10-2 mol/L, the temp. effect at 100-150.degree. was 1.2-1.5 times higher than that for more elevated concns. Low N2O concns. should not be applied at irradn. temps. <60.degree.. A scheme of the unit with N2O flow used for performing dosimetric measurements is presented and is based on the chromatog. detn. of N2 and O2 on mol. sieves.
