Thus, membranes manufd. from aliph. or arom. polyamide fabrics impregnated with L-19F [24969-11-7] or E-89 [26335-32-0] resin, pretreated with SiO2 compn., coated with SKN-26M skim stock and vulcanized with a system contg. peroximon F-40 [2781-00-2], p-quinone dioxime [105-11-3], Fe3O4, and carbon black, exhibited the highest resistance to superheated water. The rubber coating protected the polyamide fibers of the membrane against hydrolysis.
