Some of their cas registry numbers are 10553-31-8 and 7758-02-3 DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 76 (Electric Phenomena) Section cross-reference(s): 57 Glasses based on LiX and CuX (X = Cl, Br and I) are prepd. and their elec. conds. are measured in the range from room temp. to about 0° for the LiX-based glasses and to -110° for the CuX-based glasses. The conds. of the LiX-based glasses increase in the order of chloride, bromide and iodide. On the other hand, the conds. of the CuX-based glasses are not so much influenced by the kind of halides, although those seem to have a tendency to decrease slightly in the order of chloride, bromide and iodide. The highest conds. obsd. for these glasses were 10-6 S cm-1 in the LiI-based glasses and 10-3 S cm-1 in the CuClxBr1-x-based glasses at room temp. .
