Thus, a mixt. of I 100, calcined clay 50, antioxidant 1, and tetrakis (2-ethylhexyl) titanate (Tyzor TOT) [1070-10-6] 3 parts was heated 50 min at 200.degree.F, blended with 3.38 parts dicumyl peroxide curing agent, and extruded into slabs. The slabs were cured 2 min at 400.degree.C in polyalkylene glycol at atm. pressure to yield the cured samples which were pore-free and had toluene extract 14.1. The compn. could be coated or molded about a wire conductor and heat-cooled at atm. pressure to form an insulated conductor.

The powder was coated on a 36 mil-diam. circular Cu wire in an electrostatic fluidized bed and cured at 170-300° to give a bubble-free coating with thickness 1.75 ± 0.25 mils.
