Silica gel was used as adsorbent and Me2CO-CHCl3-BuOH-25% NH3 (:) and (:) as solvent systems with UV detection. The method was used to optimize temp. and reaction time of aminolysis of II to form I. 85822-27-1 and 85822-21-5 are also in the experiment. A temp. of 150° and 2 h reaction time were optimum for complete depletion of II. I was detd. by spectrophotometry at 286 nm using MeOH solvent. The absorbance/concn. ratio was linear over a broad concn. range. The method was free of systematic error and had good reproducibility. .
