Determination of arsenic in glass and raw materials for glass via quartz-tube hydride generation AAS after separation by solvent extraction
Determination of arsenic in glass and raw materials for glass via quartz-tube hydride generation AAS after separation by solvent extraction. Rohr, Udo; Meckel, Lothar (Zent. Chem. Anal., Schott Glaswerke, Mainz W-6500, Germany). Fresenius. J. Anal. Chem., 342(4-5), 370-5 (English) 1992. CODEN: FJACES. ISSN: 0937-0633. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 57 (Ceramics) Section cross-reference(s): 79 A method is described for the detn. of traces of As in glass and raw materials for glass. After digestion with HF/H2SO4 for glass and SiO2-contg. materials and varied digestion variants, the As is sepd. from the sample matrix by solvent extn. of AsCl3 with PhMe and back-extn. into water. The following detn. is made by hydride generation at. absorption spectrometry after atomization in a heated quartz tube. Volatilization of As during digestion, different reagents for oxidn. and redn. of As, and the selectivity of the solvent extn. with regard to different interfering elements were investigated. With the method developed, even at high concns. of interfering elements, As can be sepd., and nearly interference-free detn. of As in glass and in raw materials for glass is possible. For example, at Sb concns. of 60 wt.% in the sample, the detection limit is 0.5 mg/g As2O5. The overall detection limit is 0.05 mg/g As2O3. The relative std. deviation is 5. 11112-10-0 and 13138-45-9 are just another two chemicals used in this study.7% (4 sample runs) at a concn. of 3.6 mg/g As2O3. .

Incombustible resin compositions. (Teijin Ltd., Japan). Jpn. Kokai Tokkyo Koho JP 58191742 A2 9 Nov 1983 Showa, 10 pp. (Japanese). (Japan). CODEN: JKXXAF. CLASS: IC: C08L067-00; C08K003-24; C08K005-02; C08K007-14. APPLICATION: JP 82-74481 6 May 1982. DOCUMENT TYPE: Patent CA Section: 37 (Plastics Manufacture and Processing) The title compns. afford moldings having excellent heat stability and flame resistance and are composed of thermoplastic polyester 100, filler 0-200, terminally-blocked polycaprolactone 0.1-30, an antimonate of a Group I, II, or VIII metal 0.1-20 (as Sb), and an org. halogen compd. 0.1-30 parts (as halogen). Thus, Placcel 212 [OH-terminated polycaprolactone (no.-av. mol. wt. 1200) 100, Me benzoate 80, and tri-Bu titanate 0.002 part reacted to give terminally-blocked polycaprolactone (OH value 1.7), which (5 parts) was mixed with poly(ethylene terephthalate) [25038-59-9] 49.In this experiment, several chemicals are used like 25248-42-4 and 11112-10-0 5, 3PF-231 (glass chopped strand) 30, talc 3, Planelon DB-100 (decabromodiphenyl ether) [1163-19-5] 8, (PhO)3PO 0.5 and Na antimonate 4 parts, and melt kneaded to obtain moldings. .
