Thus, 750 parts 3:4.5 blend of I (mol. wt. 3000) and I (mol. wt. 2000) was degassed, cooled to 40.degree.C, mixed with 136.1 parts TDI, and stirred 6 h to give a rubber which was vulcanized using II at an amine level of 0.8 at .ltoreq.80.degree.C and postcured at 105.degree.C for 16 h to give a vulcanizate having 300% modulus 790 psi, ultimate tensile strength 5420 psi, elongation 520%, crescent tear 273, 158.degree.F 25% compression set 31, and 40% compression loaded deflection 840, and which gave solid tires which ran 53 h, compared with 615, 4000, 510, 222, 28, 620, and 30, resp., for the vulcanizate of the rubber prepd. at 90.degree.C.
