DOCUMENT TYPE: Patent CA Section: 25 (Noncondensed Aromatic Compounds) I was prepd. from 4,4'-dinitrostilbene-2,2'-disulfonic acid (II) by buffering its aq. soln. to pH 8.5 with NaHCO3 and spraying aq.Several substances with their cas registry numbers 128-42-7 and 119-72-2 may be metioned in this study. NaHS as an aerosol over the surface of the stirred soln. at 43.degree.C. The soln. was acidified ,heated at 80-5.degree. C with blowing in of air to expel SO2, and suspended S filtered to give 96% I contg. <2% contaminants. .
