We studied the immobilization and hybridization of DNA probes onto the resulted plates using the quartz crystal microbalance method. Approx. 3-5 times adsorption enhancement of HS-DNA on the plates was obtained under our exptl. conditions. Using this DNA sensor, the sensitivity was promoted by approx. three times to 0.35 mg/mL.
