High pressure phase transitions and elastic behaviour in calcium chalcogenides.In this study, 1305-84-6 and 12013-57-9 are also used. Phase transition pressures, vol. collapses are close to exptl. results. High phase transition pressures in CaSe and CaTe can be attributed to large cation anion differences. High-pressure elastic behavior (2nd order elastic consts. and their combinations) shows a sudden change at the phase transition pressure. .
