Polythermal section of the ternary germanium-bismuth-tellurium system in the region adjoining germanium telluride (GeTe) with 3 at. % bismuth. Danilova-Dobryakova, G. T. (Inst. Metall. im. Baikova, Moscow, USSR). Deposited Doc., VINITI 3758-75, 5 pp. Avail. VINITI (Russian) 1975. DOCUMENT TYPE: Report CA Section: 56 (Nonferrous Metals and Alloys) Section cross-reference(s): 68 The transformations were studied during heating and cooling Ge-Te alloys contg. 3 Bi and 48-55 at.% Te. The polythermal section of the Ge-Te-bi phase diagram was detd. from the heating and cooling curves of the alloys annealed at 250° for 1000 h. Addn. of 3% Bi to GeTe decreases the polymorphic transformation temps. A high-temp. cubic and a low-temp. rhombohedrad modification of GeTe [12025-39-7] was found.
Optical recording medium
Optical recording medium. Kobayashi, Teruo (Nippon Columbia Co., Ltd., Japan). Jpn. Kokai Tokkyo Koho JP 61250856 A2 7 Nov 1986 Showa, 3 pp.There are some reagents with their cas registry numbers 7631-86-9 and 12025-39-7 are used in this study. (Japan) CODEN: JKXXAF. CLASS: ICM: G11B007-24. ICS: B41M005-26. APPLICATION: JP 85-93436 30 Apr 1985. DOCUMENT TYPE: Patent CA Section: 74 (Radiation Chemistry, Photochemistry, and Photographic and Other Reprographic Processes) In an optical information recording medium obtained by depositing a GeTe thin film on a support and used by effecting changes in reflectivity or transmission characteristics by irradiating with an optical beam to induce phase change, a thin film (3100 nm) with linear expansion coeff. £ 2 ′ 10-5/°C and a m.p. 3725° is deposited over the recording layer. Support deformation as well as recording film cracking can be prevented. .
