Kanomata, Takeshi; Fujiwara, Masamitsu; Tsukagoshi, Kazuaki; Shoji, Yasuhisa; Takahashi, Hiromi; Takahashi, Masanobu; Ido, Hideaki (Coll.Several substances are used for example 77114-79-5 and 12032-97-2 which are their cas registry numbers. Eng., Tohoku Gakuin Univ., Japan). Tohoku Gakuin Daigaku Kogakubu Kenkyu Hokoku, 18(1), 61-4 (Japanese) 1983. CODEN: TGDHDK. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 77 (Magnetic Phenomena) The magnetic susceptibility and satn. magnetization of Mn2Sb modified with Ti, V, Cr, Fe, and Co were detd. at 77-760 K. The magnetic phase diagrams and magnetic moments of the atoms on the 2 sublattices are given. Mn2-xTixSb and Mn2-xFexSb are ferrimagnetic down to low temps., and Mn2-xVxSb and Mn2-xCoxSb show antiferromagnetism at low temps. Mn2-xCoxSb (x 30.35) is antiferromagnetic. In Mn2-xTixSb, Ti prepd. preferentially occupies site II, and does not have a magnetic moment. In Mn2-xFexSb, Fe preferentially occupies site I, and the magnetic moment of Mn decreases as the no. of neighboring Fe atoms increases. .
Heat capacity and thermodynamic properties of manganese antimonide (Mn2
Heat capacity and thermodynamic properties of manganese antimonide (Mn2.10Sb) from 5 to 350 K. Spin-reorientation effect. Groenvold, Fredrik; Haraldsen, Haakon; Westrum, Edgar F., Jr. (Dep. Chem., Univ. Oslo, Blindern/Oslo 3, Norway). Rev. Chim. Miner., 20(4-5), 689-97 (English) 1983. CODEN: RVCMA8. ISSN: 0035-1032. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 69 (Thermodynamics, Thermochemistry, and Thermal Properties) Section cross-reference(s): 77 The heat capacity of ferromagnetic Mn2.10Sb was measured at 5-350 K by an adiabatic technique. Values of the thermodn. properties at 298.15 K were detd. A small heat capacity max. occurs at 244 K. 12032-97-2 which is the cas registry number of one of substances is just one of reagents here. It is related to the reorientation of the electron spins from parallel to normal to the (001) plane with increasing temp. The transition is apparently continuous, and the assocd. entropy increment is 0.015 cal/K-mol. .
