Thus, 100 mL H2O was mixed with water glass 25.8 g and 16 N HNO3 7 mL, then mixed with 100 mL aq. soln. contg. 20.1 g MgSO4.7H2O to form a homogeneous soln., mixed with 20 mL of 28% NH4OH, the ppt. Ten Dq values of PMe3 are 2.1 and 2.4 times larger than those of the structural oxygens or solvent mols. The same complexes form between Me2PhP and Ni(II) on hectorite and on synthetic zeolite Y. The Co(II) forms pseudotetrahedral complexes with Me2PhP. These surface-immobilized transition-metal complexes interact strongly with NO and C2H2 and to a lesser extent with CO and C2H4, giving new types of complexes. .
