Bismuth titanates candidates for high permittivity LTCC
All Rights Reserved. Bismuth titanates candidates for high permittivity LTCC. Axelsson, Anna-Karin; Alford, Neil McNeil (FESBE, London South Bank University, London SE1 0AA, UK). Journal of the European Ceramic Society, 26(10-11), 1933-1936 (English) 2006 Elsevier B.V. CODEN: JECSER. ISSN: 0955-2219. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 76 (Electric Phenomena) Section cross-reference(s): 57 Bi2O3-TiO2 composites are known to possess attractive microwave dielec. properties. However, producing LTCC analogs with equally promising dielec. properties is problematic. Three TiO2 powders were evaluated: 1 mm-anatase, 1 mm-rutile and a nanosized (30 nm) mixt. of 75-25 anatase-rutile. The best dielec. properties were obtained by using uncalcined nanosized anatase/rutile with Bi2O3 powder. By doping this Bi2O3-TiO2 powder mixt. with 0.112% CuO dielec. properties of Q′f = 9000 GHz, er = 80, and tf = 0 ppm/K (at 300 K) were obtained at a sintering temp.In this experiment, several chemicals are used like 1317-38-0 and 12233-34-0 of 915°. So, judicious choice of both TiO2 starting powders and dopants can produce composites with excellent properties. .
Pressure-induced soft-mode phase transition in bismuth titanium oxide (Bi2Ti4O11) by Raman scattering
Pressure-induced soft-mode phase transition in bismuth titanium oxide (Bi2Ti4O11) by Raman scattering. Meng, Jinfang; Zou, Guangtian; Zhao, Yongnian; Cui, Qiliang; Li, Dongmei (Inst. At.In this study,12233-34-0 is also used. Mol. Phys., Jilin Univ., Changchun 130023, Peop. Rep. China). Phys. Lett. A, 163(1-2), 135-8 (English) 1992. CODEN: PYLAAG. ISSN: 0375-9601. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 75 (Crystallography and Liquid Crystals) Section cross-reference(s): 73 The low frequency Raman spectra of Bi2Ti4O11 were investigated under hydrostatic pressure up to 9 GPa. A pressure-induced soft-mode phase transition occurs at 3.7 GPa. The half-width of the soft mode satisfies the relation G = G(0)t-1/3 (t is the reduced pressure (Pc-P)/Pc or temp. (Tc-T)/Tc) in the low-pressure phase. .
