Thus, component A comprising DD-2780-3 (I) [93357-40-5] resin 100, hydrated Al2O3 (II) 100, Dow corning 193 surfactant (III) 5, Cardox 40E [94-36-0] 5, Co 0.3, and potassium Hex-cem [93357-97-2] accelerator 0.4, and component B comprising I 100, II 100, III 5, Lupersol 256 [13052-09-0] 0.5, Lupersol DDM [1338-23-4] 0.5, and dimethyl-p-toluidine [99-97-8] 0.8 part were mixed and 10 wt.% Freon 142B and Freon 11B were added to the blends. The compns. were placed under vacuum and foaming was continued until gel time of ~6 min. A very flexible foam was obtained, which remained spongy and soft after an overnight oven cure at 185 °F for 16 h.

II and III. .
