The synthesis of erythro-1,2-bis(4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-1,3-propanediol [89307-10-8] and erythro-1,2-bis(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenyl)-1,3-propanediol [69887-41-8] by this reaction route was also described. .
