Sepn. is achieved using a m-Bondapak C18 column and the eluant, H2O-MeCN-MeOH-AcOH (:5:1) contg. 0.05-0.08% (wt./vol.) Na 1-heptanesulfonate, at a flow rate of 2 mL/min. Benzoic acid and p-nitroacetophenone were used as internal stds. A variable-wavelength UV detector (278 nm) was used for detection of the compds. The method is simple, accurate, and precise. .
