The printed fabric was treated with an aq. compn. contg. 20% NaOH for 5 min at 25°, washed, dried, dyed with a liquor contg. 5% Sumikaron Brilliant Red SE-BL, squeezed to 80% pickup, dried, and heat-treated 90 s at 180° to give a fabric with colored seersucker pattern. .
