DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 1 (Pharmacology) Sol. citroflavonoids [eriodictioside (I; R = H) [13463-28-0] and hesperidoside (I; R = Me) [520-26-3]] exhibited antiaggregatory activity in vitro. Given i.p. to rats, as a mixt. (40 mg/kg/day, for 5 days) the citroflavonoids blocked ADP-induced respiratory distress and pulmonary embolism formation, without affecting prothrombin time. Hesperidoside given along was also effective. .
