The 50-mg core was coated with a 10% soln. of hydroxypropyl Me cellulose phthalate [9050-31-1] in EtOH-Me2CO (1:1) to a total wt. of 53 mg. A mixt. of pindolol 5.0, talc 7.9, cellulose 27.5, Mg stearate 1.3, mannitol 110.1, and PVP 5.2 mg was compressed with the coated cores to give tablets weighing 210 mg. .
