Magnetization and magnetic susceptibility of gadolinium trihydride. Flood, D. J. (Lewis Res. Cent.In this study,13572-97-9 is also used., Cleveland, Ohio, USA). Phys. Lett. A, 60A(5), 463-4 (English) 1977. CODEN: PYLAAG. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 77 (Magnetic Phenomena) The magnetization and susceptibility of GdH3 were measured between 1.4 and 4.2 K. A max. for .chi. was obsd. at 3.65 K. Two maxima for .DELTA..chi./.DELTA.T were obsd. at 3.32 and 1.8 K, where the former was assumed to be the Neel point. The magnetization was detd. as a function of B/T, and a Weiss mol. field const. of 62.5 .+-. 2.5 was detd. The satn. moment was found to be 7 .mu.B. .
