Reactive red dyes for cotton
Reactive red dyes for cotton. Hanousek, Vitezslav; Marek, Jan; Pavlikova, Jarmila (Czech. ). Czech. CS 164129 15 Aug 1976,4 pp. (Unavailable). (Czechoslovakia). CODEN: CZXXA9. CLASS: IC: C09B029-26. APPLICATION: CS 73-7186 18 Oct 1973. DOCUMENT TYPE: Patent CA Section: 40 (Dyes, Fluorescent Whitening Agents, and Photosensitizers) In the prepn. of title dyes by coupling diazotized [(2-sulfatoethyl)sulfonyl]-substituted anilines or aminobenzanilides with 1,8,3,6-HO(AcNH)C10H6(SO3H)2 (I) [134-34-9] undesired 4-coupling is suppressed by adding a soln. of 1 equiv. I and 1.7-2.3 equiv. NaOAc (pH 5.8-6.2) to an aq. suspension contg. 1 equiv. diazonium inner sulfate deriv. of the amine and 0.5-0.8 equiv. mineral acid. The prepn. of II [13588-33-5] and III [10116-15-1] is described.
Aqueous dye preparations of fiber reactive azo dyes
Aqueous dye preparations of fiber reactive azo dyes. Opitz, Konrad; Landler, Josef; Woerfel, Erhard (Hoechst A.-G., Ger.). Ger. Offen. DE 2529657 13 Jan 1977, 29 pp. (German). (Germany). CODEN: GWXXBX. CLASS: IC: C09B067-00. APPLICATION: DE 75-2529657 3 Jul 1975. DOCUMENT TYPE: Patent CA Section: 40 (Dyes, Fluorescent Whitening Agents, and Photosensitizers) Storage-stable liq. dye prepns. Some commonly used reagents like 10149-98-1 and 13588-33-5 are used in this experiment. contg. 15-30% azo reactive dye and 1-6% buffer are produced by treating a stoichiometric amt. of a diazotizable amine and a coupling component, both contg. .gtoreq.1 free acid group, with a stoichiometric amt. of NaNO2 in water and(or) an org. solvent, and adding a buffer or acid binding inorg. compd. to provide pH 5.5-6.8. Thus, 17.3 parts 40% NaNO2 was added to a soln. of 32.5 parts 2-methoxy-5-methyl-4-(.beta.-sulfatoethylsulfonyl)aniline and 31.8 parts ammonium 1-(acetoacetylamino)-2-methoxy-5-methylbenzene-4-sulfonate in 140 parts H2O at 5.degree. to give a quant. yield of the dye (I) [23807-34-3]. Then 5 parts Na2HPO4 and 28 parts H2O were added to give 262 parts dye prepn. (contg. 25% dye) with pH 6.3. The conc. was stable for 6 weeks and produced good dyeings and printings on cotton textiles when applied by conventional procedures. .
