DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 2 (Mammalian Hormones) The structural formulas of the adrenergic agents noradrenaline [51-41-2] (neuromediator), methoxamine [390-28-3] (a1-adrenomimetic), a benzodioxepin b2-adrenomimetic, protokylol [136-70-9] , RO-363 [74513-77-2] (b1-adrenomimetic), and WB-410 [613-67-2] (a1-adrenoblocker) and of the Ca2+ antagonist verapamil [52-53-9] were compared and theor. conformational anal. of the structures showed their preferential conformation to form polydentate complexes with metal ions. The compds. 390-28-3 and 89499-16-1 are just another two chemicals used in this study. with the greatest ability to bind to adrenergic receptors also most readily formed polydentate complexes with metals. .
