Univ., Gorkiy, USSR). Zh. Obshch. Khim., 54(3), 609-12 (Russian) 1984. 4419-47-0 and 13801-49-5 are also in the experiment. CODEN: ZOKHA4. ISSN: 0044-460X. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 67 (Catalysis, Reaction Kinetics, and Inorganic Reaction Mechanisms) The kinetics of thermal decompn. of M(NR2)4 (M = Ti, Nb, zr, and V; R = alkyl group) was studied at 180-350°. The activation parameters and the decompn. product concns. are tabulated. It does not depend on the nature of R and for M(NEt2)4 thermal stability decreased with M in the order Zr>Ti>Nb. The reaction is accompanied by dehydrogenation of R and alkene formation. .
