EPR spectra from nickel(2+) pairs in potassium trifluorozincate (KZnF3) crystals. Phys. Soc. Jpn., 53(2), 773-9 (English) 1984. CODEN: JUPSAU. ISSN: 0031-9015. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 77 (Magnetic Phenomena) EPR was studied on KNixZn1-xF3 crystals, where x < 0.1. Spectrum from single Ni2+ was identified by g = 2.27, and was superposed by superhyperfine structure from surrounding F- nuclear spins only for the most dil. specimen with x = 0.39%. The other line at 8560 G obsd. with K-band microwave was attributed to isolated Ni2+ pairs, from the temp. dependence of the intensity. Pair spectra were obsd. for dil. specimens, and exchange integral J = 83 cm-1 was deduced from the temp. dependence of the intensity. In addn., complex superhyperfine structure was obsd., and its tentative interpretation was given. .
