Au soln. contg. a chelating agent is used. It contains KAu(CN)2 [13967-50-5] 4, tetra-Na EDTA [64-02-8] tetrahydrate 20, and K Na tartrate [304-59-6] 58, and NaOH 18 g/L, and the rest deionized H2O and has a pH of 13.2-13.5. A coating 3.mu. thick is obtained at 100.degree. in 35 min.
