Taehan Hwahakhoe Chi, 27(5), 345-52 (Korean) 1983. CODEN: DHWHAB. ISSN: 0418-2472. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 61 (Water) Section cross-reference(s): 79 Cr(VI) in 0.1M H2SO4 was enriched using macroreticular gel beads impregnated with an alc. soln. of diphenylcarbazide (DPC)(I) [140-22-7]. Diaion HP-20 [55353-13-4] was the most suitable resin. Increasing the I adsorbed on the resin increased the breakthrough point. Concd. sample solns. had a higher breakthrough capacity than dil. ones. Cr(VI) extn.In this experiment, several chemicals are used like 7440-47-3 and 55353-13-4 was not affected by the presence of 100 ppm Fe(III) or other metal ions. The gel particles were effectively regenerated with MeOH. .

Brajter, Krystyna; Kozicka, Urszula (Dep. Chem., Univ. Warsaw, Warsaw 02-093, Pol.). Anal. Chim. Acta, 156, 323-7 (English) 1984. CODEN: ACACAM. ISSN: 0003-2670. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 79 (Inorganic Analytical Chemistry) Rh and Ir in mixts. were detd. sequentially with 1,5-diphenylcarbazide at pH 5.0. The Rh complex formed at 70° and was extd. into isobutanol for measurement. The Ir complex was then formed by heating for 45 min and measured in aq. soln. Beer's law is obeyed over the ranges 0.56-2.8 mg mL-1 for Rh and 0.53-3 mg mL-1 for Ir. Pt, Pd, Sn, Co, Ni, and Cr can be tolerated in small amts. .
