The org. substance is considered to be introduced into the structure of the hydrolysis product, i.e., Ca8(HPO4)2(PO4)4.5H2O through the replacement of HPO42- by succinate dianion. .

The amylolytic activity was stimulated 39.1% by potassium succinate, 38.6% by ammonium succinate, and 45% by calcium succinate when the salts were added at 0.1-0.2%. .
