Thermal neutron induced a-particle reactions on zinc-64, -65, and -67 and selenium-77
Thermal neutron induced a-particle reactions on zinc-64, -65, and -67 and selenium-77. Emsallem, A.; Asghar, M.; D'Hondt, P.; Wagemans, C. (Inst. Laue-Langevin, Grenoble, Fr.). Z. Phys. A, 315(2), 201-4 (English) 1984. CODEN: ZPAADB. ISSN: 0340-2193. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 70 (Nuclear Phenomena) The (nth,a) reaction spectroscopy was done on 64,65,67Zn and 77Se [14681-72-2] at the 87-m curved thermal n guide of the Grenoble high flux reactor. In each of the 64Zn(n,a)61Ni and 67Zn(n,a)64Ni reactions, one line showed up corresponding to an a-particle transition to the 1st excited state in 61Ni and 64Ni with sa1 = 11 ± 3 mb and 159 ± 20 mb, resp. In the case of the radioactive 65Zn, 2 lines showed up corresponding to the ground state and the 1st excited state transitions in 62Ni with large values of sa0 = 1.0 ± 0.1 b and sa1 = 1.0 ± 0.1 b. For the 77Se(n,a)74Ge reaction, the ground state and 1st excited transitions were present with sa0 = 940 ± 20 mb and sa1 = 30 ± 5 mb, resp. The spin-parities (Jp) of the n resonances contributing at thermal energy are discussed.
Levels of bromine-77 from the 77Se(p,n)77Br reaction
Levels of bromine-77 from the 77Se(p,n)77Br reaction. Fedorets, I. D.; Zabolotnyi, V. D.; Zalyubovskii, I. I.; Mishchenko, V. M.; Storizhko, V. E. (USSR). Izv. Akad. Nauk SSSR, Ser. Fiz., 41(8), 1603-10 (Russian) 1977. CODEN: IANFAY. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 70 (Nuclear Phenomena) The reaction 77Se(p,ng)77Br was carried out with Ep = 3.0 MeV on a target enriched to 70.7% 77Se [14681-72-2] of 1.32 mg/cm2. The spectra of the g-rays were measured in coincidence with n. The angular distribution of the g-rays was detd. The coeffs. of the multipole mixts. were given. The level scheme of 77Br [15765-39-6] was constructed up to 47 keV with spins and parities. The characteristics of the individual levels are discussed.
