- Iron interference and its reduction in copper determination. Zinc dibenzyldithiocarbamate (Arazate). Salardini, Ali A. (Fac. Agric., Univ. Tehran, Teheran, Iran). Publ. Fac. Agron., Univ. Some commonly used reagents like 7440-50-8 and 14726-36-4 are used in this experiment. Teheran, 5(3-4), 37-56 (Persian) 1974. CODEN: PFATBM. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 19 (Fertilizers, Soils, and Plant Nutrition) The suitability of Arazate [14726-36-4] in CCl4 for Cu detn. in plant tissue prepns. and nutrient solns. was studied along with the amt. of interference by Fe2+ and Fe3+ and the effect of mineral acids and complexing agents on the process. The interference by 0.1 mg Fe3+ was 2-10-fold the Cu present while interference by Fe2+ was much less. The effectiveness of the mineral acids in reducing interference was H2SO4 > HNO3 > HCl. Increased acid concns. resulted in increased Fe effect except in the case of H2SO4. In this latter situation the interference by Fe was reduced to 0 at a concn. of .gtoreq.1.8 N. In the absence of H2SO4 addn. of Na acetate gave increased interference while Na EDTA had the opposite effect. In the presence of H2SO4 neither complexing agent had any effect. .

Geier, Johannes; Lessmann, Holger; Rothe, Axel; Uter, Wolfgang; Brasch, Jochen; Schnuch, Axel (Information Network of Department of Dermatology, University of Goettingen, Goettingen, Germany). Contact Dermatitis, 48(4), 209-211 (English) 2003 Blackwell Munksgaard. CODEN: CODEDG. ISSN: 0105-1873. DOCUMENT TYPE: Journal CA Section: 4 (Toxicology) The frequency of sensitization of dibenzyldithiocarbamate (ZBEC) was assessed using patch tests. No pos. 14726-36-4 is also in the experiment. reaction to ZBEC occurred due to inadequate patch test prepn., no widespread exposure to ZBEC, and low allergenic potential of ZBEC. Patch testing with ZBEC 1% pet. will gain no further information in patients with suspected rubber allergy. .
